What We're Seeing in the Lake Norman Market – March 2026
If you've been wondering what's really happening in the Lake Norman market right now, you're not alone. It's definitely a season of mixed signals.
The biggest thing we're seeing? Inventory is still tight. We had fewer new listings this March compared to last year, and overall housing supply dropped to about 3.4 months. In simple terms, there still aren't a ton of homes to choose from, and that continues to shape everything else.
Because of that, prices are holding strong. The median price is now sitting at $600,000, and the average price saw a pretty big jump this year. So even though the market feels a little different than it did a year or two ago, home values are still very much holding their ground.
