Nydia was born on the island of Puerto Rico. She attended a private grammar school and completed course work at New York University. She obtained her real estate license at Central Piedmont Community College. Nydia also has a private school teacher’s license and she is a certified help desk professional. Her career includes teaching in the private school sector, training and development, project management and technical support for Fortune 500 companies. She has received star awards for excellence in service, honor, and merit in her educational years.
Nydia is excited to be a member of the LNR team and believes that the common thread in her diversified professional career has been to assist people in attaining their goals.

Nydia and her husband Antonio have explored the lake area and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and appreciation for the region, residing in Lake Norman for over three years. Nydia’s hobbies include gardening, photography, sports and interior design. Both bicultural and bilingual, she conducts bible studies in English and Spanish and is currently involved in outreach work with the Spanish speaking community.
